The song idea is about 4-5 yrs old but it was redone a couple of months ago into this version. One slight problem you might notice is the drums - I think I might have used the same pattern for this song and GRUGE. It's just that my wave library is very limited. It has a real opening track sound to it. We had loads of takes of the start and ones with a real even chromatic part. But in the end myself and the guy I was recording the EP with decided we likes the uneven sound of the chromatic scales, gave it character. Of course this was originally called 'Melancholic' but it just sounded lame. So here ya go :) this song has piano, upright bass, electric bass and vocals in it. If you listen you should hear that each section of the song is about certain things to do with this marriage and the situation: 1st verse is with a wife at home in the morning, bridge is with the husband out at war, chorus is the connection. would love to hear your opinions.
